Eager to escape from social pressures, college dropout Kevin Greeley begins an 8-week solo shift as a fire lookout at the most remote fire tower in the Blue Ridge mountains. He soon discovers that even here, miles away from civilization, he is not truly alone. This short film, The Fire Tower tells the chilling story of Kevin’s encounter with a mysterious apparition whose increasingly sinister presence forces him to question his decision to leave the safety of society behind, and ultimately even to question his own sanity.

A Place Apart
A prostitute sets out on a journey to save her schizophrenic brother and, ultimately, herself freeing them both from a past of abuse. With the help of a lonely police detective she breaks her brother out of a state run mental institution in order to take him to a doctor who can heal him with experimental hypnotherapy.
